We are seeking a temporary , experienced PLC Software Engineer to support a short-term project (2–3 months, immediate start) focused on developing and reviewing code for our steam-generating heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and be comfortable working from provided sequence of operations (SOO) documents. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role ideal for someone who can quickly contribute to an ongoing development effort and support code quality through thorough reviews and testing.
Developing PLC code based on detailed SOOs
Reviewing and validating existing code against the SOO
Assisting in the integration of PID loops, sensors, and VFDs for continuous control
Performing bench testing of PLC code and supporting system integration efforts
