$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights: - Position: Exercise Physiologist

What you will need: - Bachelor of Science in clinical exercise physiology, kinesiology, exercise science or equivalent; Master of Science, highly preferred
- Certifications: CPR - BLS issued by American Heart Association, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification within 6 months of hire
What you will do: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular fitness, including exercise tolerance, strength, flexibility, and overall physical condition.
- Develop individualized exercise plans based on patients' medical history, clinical data, and rehabilitation goals.
- Lead and supervise exercise sessions for patients in the cardiac rehabilitation program, ensuring safety and proper technique.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to exercise during sessions, making adjustments as needed.
- Educate patients on cardiovascular disease risk factors, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of adherence to exercise programs.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, progress, and any changes in treatment plans.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in exercise physiology and cardiac rehabilitation to provide evidence-based care.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development to enhance the effectiveness of the cardiac rehabilitation program.
