Job Description

Maine Recycling Corporation (MRC) is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver with a valid Class B (CDL) driver's license and clean driving record to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of recyclable aluminum cans, glass, and plastic bottles within a 30-mile radius of our Lisbon Falls facility.

• Being at work on time and maintaining satisfactory attendance.
• Loading and unloading returnable bottles and cans for recycling.
• Reporting all delivery-related problems to the Driver Manager.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and safe operation of the delivery vehicle.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to read, write, and communicate information effectively.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• The ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Starting Pay: Negotiable depending on experience.

About the Company:

MRC currently acts as a pickup and processing agent for some of the largest beverage manufacturers in Northern New England. Our fleet of 30 trucks with over 200 trailers enables us to provide state wide pickup services for both new and existing beverage distributors in Maine. MRC currently employs 80 to 100 employees operating from our Lisbon Falls location. MRC also operates a Redemption Center. Speedy Redemption in Topsham, Maine.
