Client Advocate I Location Remote in Columbia, SC :

Position Summary The Client Advocate position is a client facing position working as a single point of contact for operational issues. They will be responsible for building relationships with Clients, Brokers, and Account Owners. They will support service and administration of Meritain products to achieve client satisfaction and profitable growth.

Fundamental Components

  • Responsible for assigned book of business.

  • Responds to client's requests for claim analysis, plan interpretation, portal assistance and benefit questions.

  • Supports client implementation, eligibility, billing and drafting by working proactively with supporting areas.

  • Responsible for cultivating strong relationships with internal partners such as the account owners and operational teams.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and gaps in service level to determine root cause and develop solutions.

  • Supports scheduling of client meetings as needed and preparation for these meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience working with health insurance.

  • 1-3 years of experience working with claims and/or stop-loss products.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience with broker and client interactions.

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
