As a CDLA Otr/Regional Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across state lines or regionally, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to our valued customers. Responsibilities

  • Transport goods over long distances or within regional areas safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.
  • Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding transportation, including hours of service and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of transportation activities, including mileage and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate logistics and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring loads are secure and properly distributed for safe transport.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during pick-up and delivery.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 6 months of driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with truck driving regulations and DOT compliance.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
