Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster Location Salt Lake City, UT (Downtown area) :

AgReserves, Inc. is seeking a service-oriented Worker's Compensation Manager to join the corporate HR team . The Worker's Comp Manager oversees all aspects of the workers' compensation program, ensures compliance with relevant regulations, and fosters a safe and healthy work environment. This role plays a crucial role in minimizing workplace injuries and promoting employee well-being. A successful Worker's Comp Manager stays abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices while focusing on administration of our program through relationship management with insurance administrators, physicians TPA's, and all levels of employees.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive workers' compensation program.
  • Oversee the entire claims process, from initial reporting to resolution. Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and legal representatives to expedite claims resolution. Ensure clinics examining our employees meet the highest standards.
  • Investigate and analyze claims, identifying trends and implementing strategies to reduce future incidents.
  • Manage workers' compensation costs, compensation claims processes and notifications to others, training, relationships, and claims oversight.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees to aid in reporting procedures and safety measures.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and management on workers' compensation policies procedures and safety protocols.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including HR and operational leaders, to ensure clear understanding of the workers' compensation process.
  • Develop and maintain data and metrics to measure program success, create reports, and share insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaison to the company's owner for all ARI Washington State worker's compensation claims.
  • Partner with HR in understanding job duties, physical demands and work environment descriptors for the positions that will assist with returning employee back to work.
  • Coordinate with local HR Managers and Safety Managers to provide transitional duty policies and improvements.
  • Assist employees and their managers with WC-related questions and needs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in worker's compensation and/or worker's comp claims management with strong knowledge of federal and state Workers Compensation laws and expertise in the states of CA, OR, UT, ID, WA.
  • Adjuster license with multi-state experience preferred.
  • Technically proficient with MS Office tools, and experience with Riskonnect software.
  • Strong demonstrated interpersonal, communication, customer service orientation and presentation skills.
  • Spanish bilingual ability strongly desired.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data to prepare comprehensive reports including written report sections.
