Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: Up to $24/hr.

Location: Grandville, MI

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing production team. This role involves welding, cutting, and assembling metal components to meet precise specifications. Candidates should be able to work efficiently, follow detailed plans, and produce high-quality welds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, Outer Shield, and Electrode Rod welding to fabricate and repair metal components.
• Use hand-held and stationary cutting torches to cut, prep, and fit materials as required.
• Read, interpret, and follow weld prints and fabrication drawings to produc
• e accurate assemblies.
• Set up, adjust, and regulate welding equipment—including current, voltage, gas flow, and electrode type—for proper metal fusion.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Operate basic fabrication tools such as grinders, clamps, squares, and measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG welding, Outer Shield welding, Electrode Rod welding, and cutting torches.
• Ability to read and understand weld prints and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to adjust welding machines and equipment for different materials and processes.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
