Job Description
Fondomonte is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our maintenance team. You'll be working on a variety of farm equipment - fabricating new components, repairing worn parts, and customizing machinery to meet the unique needs of our agricultural operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair various equipment and components
- Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions
- Perform welding & fabrication of heavy equipment parts and assemblies to meet established quality standards, production procedures and efficiency expectations
- Work as part of a team, coordinating work and assisting in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts
- Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position
- Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment if any equipment needs repairs, notify the supervisor/lead or maintenance department
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary by the department or shift Lead
- Hardfacing skid loader buckets and tillage equipment
- Mending seeders, spreaders and other machines that can break down in the field
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience, preferably with agricultural or heavy equipment
- Proficiency in Stick/MIG/TIG welding and metalworking tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
- Familiarity with brands like John Deere and Caterpillar is a strong plus
- Welding certification is preferred but not required
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Safely operate associated hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, measuring tools, etc.
- Mechanical aptitude with proficient shop math skills.
- Drug-free with an excellent record of attendance and punctuality.
- Outstanding attention to detail
Job Context
- Work hours may vary based on business needs, flexibility to work on the weekend is required.
- This job is located in Blythe, California
- Experience in the Agriculture industry is a plus

Pay: $21.00 per hour with opportunity for growth
Schedule: M-Friday 6:00 - 4:00 and Saturday 1/2 day

Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, reach, push, and/or pull; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
- Ability to lift 50+lbs and work in the field, in an outdoor environment, or shop
