The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Trainer to play a crucial role in enhancing the operational effectiveness of USSTRATCOM through advanced data science initiatives. This position involves developing and delivering training programs that equip personnel with the necessary skills to leverage data analytics in strategic decision-making and operational planning.
The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
Trainer, Senior:
Leads Enterprise training to advance the application of data-driven analytics within every directorate, component, and associated organization
Reinforces comprehensive education and training program tailored to build a data-driven culture and foster a strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and data science concepts and tools
Provides support for the full range of planning and implementation of governance training and algorithmic models for data, AI/ML
Designs and delivers training programs to enhance technical skills in AI/ML and data science concepts
Facilitates workshops for non-technical stakeholders to build understanding and trust in the new technologies
Conducts research to develop/revise comprehensive training courses and determines training objectives
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
Required:
Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with a proven track record in training or instructional design
Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 712 - Intermediate; Approved DoD 8140 cyber-related certification; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
AND
Additional Cert: N/A
Strong understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable training content

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
