We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for small details, and the ability to follow directions closely and efficiently.

A Screen Printer is responsible for producing high-quality screen prints on various apparel items. This role involves preparing screens, mixing inks, setting up printing equipment, and ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen Preparation:
• Coat screens with emulsion and expose them to light to transfer designs.
• Clean and reclaim screens after use.
• Printing:
• Set up and operate screen printing machines.
• Align materials and screens for accurate prints.
• Print designs on various apparel items, ensuring high-quality results.
• Adjust machines for different types of prints and materials.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect prints for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment and materials to maintain print quality.
• Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with machines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in screen printing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a silk screen printer or in a similar role is a plus.
• Knowledge of screen printing techniques and equipment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods. (cushioned floor mats available)
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Good vision and ability to distinguish colors.

Working Conditions:

• Temperature controlled bay - set to 80 degrees in the summer and winter. (fans available)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
