Paving Superintendent - Commercial Asphalt - Base Salary to 140k/year - Decatur, GA

They specialize in asphalt paving, striping, sealing, ADA compliance, and site repairs, focusing exclusively on commercial projects such as shopping centers, multifamily developments, non-interstate roadways, and new construction. • Our client is seeking an experienced Paving Superintendent to lead and grow their paving operations in the Decatur, GA area. This is a full-time, field-based leadership role ideal for a hands-on professional who can both run heavy paving equipment and manage large-scale commercial paving projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of a 35-40 person paving crew
  
• Lead all aspects of paving jobs from mobilization to completion
  
• Operate and direct the use of paving equipment (pavers, rollers, etc.) as needed
  
• Train, mentor, and develop field personnel on proper technique, safety, and productivity
  
• Coordinate closely with internal teams including sales, project management, and dispatch
  
• Monitor job performance, schedule adherence, and field quality
  
• Ensure a safe, efficient, and respectful work environment
  
• Set the tone for accountability, teamwork, and high-quality outcome

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of paving experience, including operating commercial paving equipment
  
• Proven track record in leading crews and running paving projects from start to finish
  
• Knowledge of commercial job specs, ADA compliance, and project coordination
  
• Ability to lead by example and gain trust through respect and experience

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 120k - 140k/year range
